AH 2 Withdrawal Sleeves
AH 2 Withdrawal Sleeves can mount a tapered bore bearing on a round stepped shaft, which is one of the more popular and commonly used industrial sleeves. Generally, the withdrawal sleeves are pressed into a bearing inner bore to fix it on the shaft through a fiber web or endplate. For larger bearings, when it is pressed against the bearing bore, a larger force is required to overcome the friction of the mating surface. Hydraulic installation can simplify this process by a withdrawal sleeve.

How does hydraulic installation with AH 2 Withdrawal Sleeves improve bearing mounting efficiency?
Hydraulic installation using CS AH 2 Withdrawal Sleeves significantly reduces the force required when mounting larger bearings, where substantial pressure is needed to overcome friction between mating surfaces. This method eliminates the need for mechanical hammering, prevents bearing damage, ensures even pressure distribution, and reduces installation time by up to 70%. Our precision-manufactured sleeves with exact 1:12 taper ratio guarantee optimal hydraulic pressure transfer, making bearing installation more precise and efficient for your critical machinery components.
The AH 2 series is designed with meticulous attention to dimensional accuracy, with specific thread specifications compatible with appropriate withdrawal nuts (AN series). These components simplify the bearing installation process by allowing the sleeve to be pressed into the bearing inner bore through a fiber web or endplate, creating a secure mechanical connection. For larger bearings requiring greater mounting force, these sleeves can be used with hydraulic installation methods to overcome friction resistance, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and extending bearing service life. Each sleeve is manufactured to exacting tolerances to ensure consistent performance across all industrial applications.
